Synthesism Collection

I am convinced that in the midst of so much post-modern deconstruction, division, and atomization we are in need of synthesis. Blending and combining influences that draw us to truth, beauty, and goodness in a universal, but uniquely personal way. The “Synthesist” is someone who looks hopefully into the past, present, and future, curating what is impacting them to create a “new” expression.

Each “World” in this collection is a unique expression of color and texture originating from the Reverse Abstraction process. The intent is for them to remind you that you are capable of creating the world you would like to see in your life. Creation is the ultimate expression of human power; it allows us to turn dreams into reality and shape the world with our imagination.

The “Quilted” Collection draws inspiration from barn quilts, working to create my own modern interpretation with the Reverse Abstraction process. These two are reflections on friendship, reminding us that even though we are different, we can create something beautiful together.

Fruity Ramen is a playful reminder that life is filled with unexpected intersections, overlaps and turns. If we allow them to flow freely, we can create something beautiful. In a world so divided, Fruity Ramen reminds us that there is beauty in coming together. Also some tears too.

Layers Collection

Each of us have layers to our soul. Some we may show, others that remain hidden. Each of these Reverse Abstraction pieces have created an Imaginary Topography that reminds us that we can create the landscape of our lives. Our imagination serves as the mental cartographer, sketching the landscape of our possibilities. In this map of the mind, imagination uncovers the vast potential within our thoughts, showcasing the boundless terrain of human creativity.
